Donate to Provide Quality Care for Your Hard Working Neighbors

You can be a part of the mission at Centre Volunteers in Medicine. Make a monetary donation to our organization and support the work we do. With many health care questions yet to be answered, CVIM continues to be the solution for those individuals who earn too much to qualify for medical assistance and for one reason or another find hardship with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) mandates. Our medical clinic, dental clinic, case management team, and medication assistance program serve those living or working in Centre County by offering medical care free of charge to low-income individuals. We do not receive program dollars for these services, but depend strictly on community support.

At Centre Volunteers in Medicine, we express our sincere “thank you” to all who provide support through gifts of time and treasure. Our donor’s right to privacy is of utmost concern. Therefore, we do NOT publish a listing of individuals and businesses who have contributed to our organization. Please know that we consider you our partners in providing health care to our uninsured and under-insured neighbors, and we value your support greatly. Without your gifts, we would not be able to offer care to the thousands of patients who walk through our door annually.

Should you have any questions regarding this policy, or you need to verify the status of your donation, please contact Cheryl White at (814) 231-4043 or cwhite@cvim.net. Thank you!

Donation of Medications

Access to affordable medications is key to the health of our patients. To that end, Centre Volunteers in Medicine accepts donations of medications purchased or received through pharmacies or approved medication distribution programs. To donate, you must be able to verify storage and proper handling of medications. CVIM will NOT accept donated medications from any other source, including those from private citizens and physician offices.

Individuals wishing to dispose of medications may take them to Mount Nittany Medical Center. They accept medications Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Medications can be dropped off at the pharmacy service window at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
