2011 Friends & Family Campaign Meets Shaner Challenge

Thank you to all who made the 2011 Friends & Family Campaign a success. Once again the Shaner Community Challenge was offered and once again CVIM donors stepped up and met the challenge head on! Much needed funds were raised to support the mission of providing services to the uninsured and underinsured in Centre County. CVIM is blessed with donors who give continuously, year after year. Thank you to Lance and Ellen Shaner for their continued major contribution and support of CVIM. On behalf of our volunteers, staffs, and patients, thank you to the entire Centre County community.

CVIM Saves a Life - Helping Hands Article

In the spring of 2010, Kevin walked into CVIM not feeling well and without medical insurance. Kevin had stage four non-Hodgkins lymphona, a form of cancer. In January 2011 Kevin returned to CVIM. He was cancer free and wanted to say thank you.

Medication Policy

Access to affordable medicine is vital to patient health. CVIM strives to insure quality care and patient safety with the limited resources at our disposal. To that end, CVIM only uses medications purchased or received through pharmacies or approved medical distribution programs that can verify proper storage and handling of medications. As a matter of patient safety and quality control, CVIM will not accept medications from any other source, including private citizens and physician offices.
