Dr. Richard M. Madore Dental Clinic

Dental care is hard to come by in Centre County, even if you have insurance. Many of CVIM dental patients have not been able to obtain or afford dental care for years, causing poor oral health.

Dental Services most provided at CVIM are:

  • Emergency evaluations for patients experiencing pain or swelling
  • Extractions
  • Restorative care
  • Basic dental hygiene cleanings
  • Specialty and diagnostic referrals

CVIM does not provide:

  • Cosmetic dentistry,
  • Dentures (CVIM may be able to help obtain funding for dentures)
  • Bridges or Crowns

Please note that if you have a dental emergency call CVIM at 231-4043 NOW.

Richard M. Madore Dental Clinic Campaign

It is a little known fact that dental disease and poor dental health can cause major complications and illness, even death.  Early  diagnosis, preventative treatment, and early intervention can prevent or halt the progress of most oral diseases.

The Dr. Richard M. Madore Dental Clinic at CVIM honors the spirit and legacy of one individual’s dedication to give back to his community.

In 2017, chuck Herlocher, because of his belief in what we are doing for our dental patients at CVIM is matching dollar for dollar, up to $10,000 for donations received during the 2017 Richard M. Madore Dental Clinic Campaign.

Your donation is badly needed.

A Thankful Patient

Andrew’s Story

Andrew came to CVIM as a new patient who hadn’t seen a dentist in over 10 years.  He was very anxious and eventually explained to us that he had a traumatic experience with a dentist.  He was in a lot of pain from a piece of a needle that had been left embedded in his mouth.

After a few visits to talk with him about his dental treatment and do extensive restorative work, he began to trust the dental professionals.  His appearance allowed him to smile more and gave him the confidence to apply for jobs.  Andrew is very happy and cannot stop thanking the dental volunteers and staff for fixing his teeth, helping him cope with his fears, and giving him the education to move toward a lifetime of good oral health.
