CVIM Cycling for Care

Our first annual event was held on  Saturday, June 20, 2009, with the start and finish at the Military Museum, Boalsburg, PA.  There were three courses:

Red Loop        50 miles - Extra Leg Loop - See map

Blue Loop        35 miles - Centre Loop - See map

Green Loop       8 miles - Linden Fun Loop - See map

In spite of the rain, the event was a huge success!  We had 99 individuals pre-register and about 60 of them still came out and rode for Centre Volunteers in Medicine.  We even had an additional five riders show up the morning of the event and register to ride.  Talk about dedicated cyclists!

So far CVIM has received more than $24,000 in donations through this year’s event and more is arriving daily. If you would like to contribute, please use the link above. The top individual fundraiser was Kari Ann Lucas and she received the bike donated by The Bicycle Shop.
